Interactive electronic mathematics presentations for the classroom

Abstract

This article describes how teachers and researchers can create interactive electronic mathematics presentations (IEMPs) utilizing presentation software, mathematical software and the Internet. The incorporation of dynamic technology provides an opportunity to seamlessly integrate mathematics with other content. This form of presentations engages students in making connections between the mathematics and its application to real life. The article discusses the incorporation of technology, implementation of IEMPs in the classroom and its impact on student learning. It further discusses student data using IEMPs.
