Student-Based Instruction: More Than a Method

Abstract

All students have individual learning needs that vary depending on subject matter. The author investigated student learning styles and individual modes of thinking that could be identified and considered within ones instruction in the middle grades. Through research investigation and case study analysis, the author suggests particular teaching methods that cater to individual learning needs. Methods provided give students the necessary building blocks that promote lifelong learning.
